As South Korea’s representative, Shin Hye-seong of the music group Shinhwa will sing the national anthem in front of audience and participants at the K-1 World Grand Prix “2005 Seoul Competition” next month. The competition will be attended by over 100 prominent Korean and Japanese fighters and celebrities, including Choi Hong-man, who will make his debut, foreign fighters Akebono and Remy Bonjasky, and former Miss Japan Hunihara Noriko.

Shinhwa, which rounded up its successful tour in Japan last month, has decided to suspend its group activities indefinitely and embark on solo activities. The members of the group plan to release solo albums, star in television dramas and appear on TV as emcees.
